“Clocks slay time… time is dead as long as it is being clicked off by little wheels; only when the clock stops does time come to life.”

“Your hand can seize today, but not tomorrow; and thoughts of your tomorrow are nothing but desire. Don’t waste this breath, if your heart isn’t crazy, since “the rest of your life” won’t last forever.”
Omar Khayyám, Quatrains – Ballades

I hate wasting time.  This picture of Blue Lagoon Island depicts a place to waste time. My body melted into the hammock and never dove into the sea.  I needed every bit of this extravagance. Although, I’d much rather see the sunset over the Linyanti River in the highlands of Angola ; snorkel in the South Pacific on the white sandy beaches of the Fiji Islands; tour  Easter Island’s almost 900 giant stone figures;  sample the confines of Club Med in the lavish suburb of Les Almadies, Dakar; travel the nile river or view the artifacts of King Tutankhamun in Cairo, Egypt or enjoy “the first universal museum in the Arab World”, Louvre Abu Dhabi in Abu Dhabi, UAE.  Okay, I can dream… yes, this is on my “not yet” list.
